Diogo Dalot has hailed the mentality of Manchester United players after they came from behind to beat Manchester City 2-1.
Rubon Amorim was decisive in leaving out Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho from his Premier League squad on Sunday.
Dalot praised the Red Devils’ character after they trailed until the 88th minute to emerge victorious, which has seen Pep Guardiola’s City win just one of their last 11 games. “The message was clear from the beginning
(with Amorim) – if you want to be successful, you have to work hard and be ready to struggle,” said Dalot.
“If you want to be successful at this club, you have to struggle and if you are ready to do that then we are a good team. If you are not ready then there is no space for you. “In the
last few years we have had these crazy games. ยูฟ่าเบท http://ufabet999.app We fought until the last second and I think that is the DNA of this club,” added Dalot.
“We showed character and even when we were behind we were calm and I think that is a progression from the last few years.
“When we were behind We probably lost our nerve a little bit but we showed character and I really liked the way we responded, even after the first goal,” he said.
“You could feel the energy between us and it was really good and credit to the substitutes who came on as well because I thought they gave us energy.”
